Dengar the hunter


This was for a series of color workshops I did over the summer with Dave McClellan. I am so impressed with the amount of care the management staff at Avalanche have for the improvement of their artists. This painting had to do with analogous color. Monochrome with a hint of another color. I wanted to post this for the Avalanche Star wars challenge, but felt I wanted to work on it more. So instead I am posting it here months later.

See, I didn't think Dengar was cool because I thought he had a weird double chin support strap. But this has changed my mind. Didn't he get pushing into lava by Han Solo or something?
